Backloading

To help our customers when moving interstate we have setup a list of Helpful links. Depending on which states you are moving to will determine some items you The Backloading Company offer both ‘dedicated’ removals and ‘Backloading’ removals.

A Backload offers you a cheaper option when transporting just a few items to a complete household of furniture. Backloading although a cheaper alternative to a dedicated removal, does not guarantee uplift and delivery dates.

The Backloading Company has a depot in both Melbourne VIC and Gold Coast QLD making it possible to pickup on preferred dates with our smaller depot trucks. Transport times are estimated at between 5 to 7 working days on backloads due to the interstate trucks needing time to complete their unloading/loading in each state before moving onto the next scheduled pickups.

Being a part of a backload removal involves your goods being placed onto a truck that is also carrying other booked backloads. This means you are only paying for the space taken by your goods on the trailer, you are not paying to book the whole trailer when you only require a small portion of the truck.
